About Me
My journey through the academic world of art, thus far, has been on a wonderous and particularly exponential trajectory. It has taken me from arts and crafts as a child, through to realizing and fine-tuning my talents at University level. It is an understatement to say that I have come a long way from where I was, to where I am today. It has always been a dream of mine to complete a University degree, and thankfully I have been given the opportunity to do so, and in a field that I am passionate about, no less. I always thought I wasn’t good enough to get into University, so I was naturally overwhelmed when I received my offer from RMIT University.

Throughout this experience, I have learnt that art isn’t just about painting or drawing. Art is so much more. To me, being an artist is a beautiful, continual, evolving process. A lecturer once asked me what makes me different from other artists. At the time, I didn’t completely have the answer, but I knew I didn’t want to be pigeon-holed into one particular area. I didn’t want to be just a painter, or just an illustrator, or anything like that. I didn’t want to compartmentalize myself. As an artist, I would love to try it all. This may be an impossible, or at least an improbable task, but I would love to give it a go. Why not? Perhaps this will be my way of finding out what sort of artist I am.
